A coffee for Agatha Christie
Agatha Christie is considered one of the best authors in the crime genre in world literature. She is undoubtedly one of the most widely read authors of the 20th century, millions of copies of her extensive work have been sold, and so it is not surprising that she is one of the most translated writers in the world. Even today her followers number in the tens of thousands and her novels and short stories are being adapted and performed today.
That Agatha Christie had an interest in coffee is beyond doubt, so much so that she dubbed her first play Black Coffee, a work full of intrigue and mystery.
We can imagine Agatha writing this play between sips of a copanti espresso, with a chocolate profile, creating the intriguing stories of the mythical inspector Hercule Poirot, a plot full of intrigues and enigmas to be discovered.
