Mare Terra Coffee has designed another 10-day coffee trip to Colombia which will let you discover the best coffees of the magical region of Huila, meet Colombian coffee producers, visit different farms and enjoy the culture of this colorful country. 

Trip 1. July 25 -- August 5. Departure from Paris.
Trip 2. December 1 -- December 11. Departure from Barcelona.

Our tour covers tickets, accommodation, transportation, meals and all the visits and cupping sessions.

Day by day

DAY 1.
Flight from Paris/Barcelona to Bogotá and then from Bogotá to Neiva city.
 
DAY 2. 
Visiting the head office of Coocentral Cooperative and its quality control lab. Coocentral gathers around 4000 coffee producers in 7 municipalities of Huila: Garzón, Gigante, Agrado, El Pital, Tarqui, Suaza and Guadalupe.
 
DAY 3.
The second day in Coocentral: meetings with coffee producers and cupping Colombian coffees. The second day at Coocentral: meeting with coffee producers and cupping Colombian coffees. Within those, some very special participants of Coocentral's main projects: Mujeres Cafeteras del Huila (Coffee women of Huila) and Caficultores jóvenes de Huila (The Young Farmers of Huila).
 
DAY 4.
Visiting farms and processing stations in Huila. At the first farm we can observe and understand different processing and drying methods used in Colombia. At the second farm, which has several international certifications, coffee producers will show how they organize their work to obtain and maintain these certifications.
 
DAY 5. 
Excursion to Alto de los Ídolos and Salto de los Bordones, an archaeological and natural area awarded the Unesco World Heritage label in 1995. It is located in the National Natural Park of Puracé famous for its incredible waterfalls, valleys and views.
 
DAY 6
Visiting other farms and cupping more coffees from the Young Huila Farmers project. These young producers will share their vision about the future of coffee production in Colombia and tell us about the educational and industry support systems which let them develop their ideas.
 
DAY 7.
Visiting farms formed and managed by women of Huila.
 
DAY 8
Excursion to Tatacoa desert and thermal waters of Rivera. 
 
DAY 9.
Flight to Bogotá and visiting the most interesting specialty coffee shops in the city.
 
DAY 10.
Leaving Colombia.
